First Night in Nauvoo

Nauvoo Visitor's Center:  Relief Society Statue garden, The Quilter.  This was such a nice
reverent  beautiful place until we came to town. . .

. . . to reinact all the scenes.

It's good no one else was there.

After a 24-hour drive to Nauvoo, we wanted to get the layout of the land for tomorrow. We had the place to ourselves!

LeGrand taught us some great history of the Smith Family at this site.

Always the great teacher, LeGrand spoiled us on this trip.
A good time for Lori to teach Brent how to use their camera. . .

Soft rain, evening light, and no tourists but us!

The weary travelers.

Looking forward to an early session in this most amazing temple.
