Maternity Shoot for Jill

This top picture was not Jill although she said she felt like that is how she looked. Jill actually took this shot of a buffalo out of the car window for me.  Antelope Island was so buggy we didn't want to get out of the car.  But heck, we got dressed up and there was no stopping us now.

"Mom, there is a bug humming in my ear."

At this point, they were calling the baby Charley, Quinn, Emory, and several other names.  Cute little basketball!   I suggested "Spalding."

Getting this baby girl this far along in the womb was a miracle.  Jill about lost her several times--the doc was not optimistic about a  term pregnancy.  Jill never lost hope.  Sometimes being stubborn is a blessing.  We thank the Lord for this baby and Jill's health.

Tiptoeing through the Tulips with the Houghs

Kaye thinks of everyone else first.  We did a great shoot of a friend of the Houghs with the Hough bunnies.  Finally I said, "No more pictures till we get your girls too."  So off to our favorite tulip yard in Smithfield and even though we shot these in a 50-mile an hour wind after the sun went down--way too down, they turned out great.  That's the blessing you get for watching out for everyone else Kaye.

Story Family Part 2

Ya so this family is hard to catch in one place.  At the same time.  Ya, hard. But they are sure handsome and fun and exciting to be with.  If you do the math, there is a Mom and Dad and two girls and two boys.  Not in the same frame, but definitely in the same family.

These two have been best friends since Claire was born.

Claire

Wait a minute!  How did Aunt Jodi get in this photoshoot?  Oh yeah, I made her help me and she slipped in for a light check. She loves photoshoots about as much as Scott.

Weston
Weston was actually with us on the Redhills Parkway hike, but he "lost" himself and we didn't see him till the hike back to the van.  He is so proud of his family.  Ha.
