Madison meets Mrs. Moo Cow

I love this picture Jodi snapped at the Cache Valley County Fair!  The proud 4-H member, brave but cautious Madi, and of course Mrs. Moo Cow checking out the cute little human person. Thanks Jodi.

Jodi's sweet ride to the county fair.

Downloading my camera, I found that Jodi had taken lots of pictures of this cow.  Yes, Jodi, this is where milk comes from. She needs to help Uncle Jeff on his dairy farm for a few days.

Michael's Fun (?) Run

I don't understand runners.  I did jog for awhile, but no run was that much fun.  I emphathize with the guy who said,  "The trouble with jogging is that by the time you realize you're not in shape for it, it's too far to walk back."

Michael was a runner in high school and although he doesn't have much training time these days, he still likes to celebrate the 4th of July by entering some random race.  This year he and Jill were in Blanding so after training for two days, he jumped in the early morning 5K.

Obligatory Stretching. Nurse Jill standing by with her smoothie and Michael's refreshing beverage.

"Runners, tie your shoes and take your place at the starting line."

Steve Hiatt:  "All runners must finish the entire race or I will have to kill 'em.  I just love that part."

Michael:  "Did someone really pay that dog's entry fee?"

Go!

Knowing that Michael only trained for two days before the race, we were surprised to see him come in as one of the first finishers.

Second place medal in the hardest division!  Nice run, Michael!

Temple Hill and a cute family

While at the wedding, I talked Em into letting me take a few pictures on the north hill of the Manti Temple.  I love this family! I love this temple!

LeGrand and I were married in the beautiful Manti Temple 37 years ago.  So grateful for that sacred beginning. . .

Dayna and Brian at the Manti Temple

This awesome couple sealed the deal at the Manti Temple on August 4th.  These are just a few snapshots Dayna and Brian and their wedding party as I tried to stay out of the way of the photographer:

Just try getting a full wedding dress, a bride, and a groom out the same revolving door without a few tense moments.  It was worth holding your breath just to hear Dayna giggle.
