The Utah Ultimate Challenge is an opportunity for amateurs to ride one stage of the Tour de Utah with the professional bike racers from all over the world. The challenge is that there are no concessions for the amateurs. They ride the same course which is more difficult than any amateur would normally ride. This year's challenge was a 64 mile loop from Soldier Hollow to Solitude Ski Resort with 8,000 feet of elevation in that 64 miles.
As usual, Mike pushed himself to the limit and finished in the top of those who actually raced the entire distance from beginning to end. There were probably 4,000 racers.
Christian, Gpa and Gma, and Jodi had a great time as his support team.
