The girls in San Diego took a little city recreation dance class. When it came time for the recital, I expected it to be in the local elementary school but I was wrong. The kids performed at a wonderful historic building in downtown Balboa Park. You can see that Kelsey was transformed into a prima ballerina. Claire, on the other hand, was more interested in investigating the park. I got to follow her and her friend around while Kellie supervised during the rehearsal. The pictures at the end show the venue and one of the crazy trees in front of the building. California. Who would have guessed it was so beautiful?
Oh, Mom! I just love these pictures! It made me really miss my dear San Diego! And Kelsey looks so grown up in all her make-ups. One of these days I'll figure out how to put lipstick on straight! And I had to laugh at the one where I'm touching Claire up. My hands are covered in paint! Love you, Mom!
