Blizzard of '13

It has been four days since LeGrand and I have ventured farther than our apartment parking lot. Ogden received lots of snow; the temperatures have been around 0-20 degrees; and we are live on a busy street in front of the college and hospital. Needless to say, we are chicken to travel anywhere! We have heard the incessant ambulances though, and we are sure it was a good decision to ride this one out. We thought maybe Church might be canceled tomorrow. We hoped it would since we are speaking, but a brave member of our new bishopric stopped by today to make sure everyone in the apartments was okay and encouraged us to come join them. They split the ward we were attending and added our apartment to a sister ward that shares the building we were already in. We went last week for the first time and fell in love with the Country Hills Ward. Hope they will still let us come after we speak tomorrow. Wish we could transport most of this white stuff to San Juan County where they are in desparate need of moisture. We are still praying for all our friends in Monticello and Blanding.
So now you can understand why my blogging has taken on a life of its own! What to do stuck inside for so many days?
